About Me

My Background

Kaitlyn is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) with a globalization concentration. 
She hopes to one day pursue a JD/PhD in philosophy and a career as a law professor working on tech policy issues. Kaitlyn is also passionate about exposing students to service-oriented careers and hopes to inspire the next generation of public servants. She published her her first book, The Public Sector Pivot: How Gen Z Will Lead a Renaissance in Public Service in May of 2021. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Kaitlyn conducted research on tech policy and political philosophy in the European Union for the 2022-2023 academic year as a Fulbright Schuman Scholar. She is currently a program associate with the Liberty and National Security team at the Brennan Center for Justice, working on issues ranging from government surveillance to AI policy.
